My Stanford Miracle! After 51 Years, My Essential Tremor In My Left Hand is Gone!

Back on June 28, 2026, I had a brain surgery at Standford Hospital to remove an Essential Tremor from my left hand. The procedure is called a MSgFUS - an acronym for MRI Guided Focused Ultrasound. The amazing doctors at Stanford got 98% of the tremor removed from my left (dominant) hand! In 10 months, I hope to go back for Round 2 and have it removed from my right hand. I can now handhold my camera again with little to no shake! The reason I call it a miracle is because you are only guaranteed 50-60% reduction. But I have a strong faith in the Lord so I prayed a lot. I had other praying for me also. Towards the end of the video I reveal how much they got - when you hear the number, just know, that they cannot get 100% (though I won't swear. to that). As I was moved in and out of the MRI Tube, I asked Jesus to be with me and to guide the surgeon's hand. Yes - you are awake the entire time for this particular surgery. I never once felt anxious and I deal with bad anxiety - I was perfectly calm. In the words to my favorite Brooks and Dunn song, "I BELIEVE!" Later that night when I was about to go to sleep I prayed a thank you prayer and at the end of my prayer I told Jesus he could get on with other things - I was doing great. As soon as I said that, I felt fingers squeezing my left foot. You'll understand they got the tremor out of my left hand. It freaked me out and I immediately popped up and shined my iPhone's flashlight towards the foot of the bed - no one there and Beri was sound asleep. As I said - Believe!!! BTW - though side affects from this surgery can be varied, I have only experience extreme tiredness and sudden bouts of dizziness - all common reactions and should subside by the 6-week mark though some can continue up to 3 months.
