What's A Bare Bones H? This 1940 Farmall Model H

Back in 2004 Classic Tractor Fever visited with Lee Schmidt of Missouri about his 1940 Farmall H. This Farmall H had special meaning to Lee, who at the age of 12 drove this tractor. Lee grew up on his Uncles farm in Kansas and farmed with an 8N Ford, but he always admired the neighbors Farmall. At age 12 he got his chance to drive it while working as hired help for the neighbors. Lee's Uncle ended up purchasing the Farmall H from the neighbors and Lee acquired the tractor from his Uncle. 1940 was only the second year for the Farmall H. Back in 1940 this tractor would have cost you $700 US dollars or about $12,676 US dollars in 2019.
