My First Ronde van Arnhem 🚴‍♂️ | 110 km Through the Posbank After the Storm

I took part in the Ronde van Arnhem for the very first time, together with my cycling club, the Maximus Stampers from Utrecht. The route covered 110 km with around 660 metres of climbing through one of the most beautiful cycling regions in the Netherlands. Arnhem and the Posbank have always been among my favourite places to ride, but this was my first experience of this event. The ride had an unexpected twist. Heavy thunderstorms had passed through the area the night before, leaving branches, leaves and debris scattered across many of the roads. Combined with wet corners in the forest, it meant we had to stay alert throughout the day. It wasn't just about climbing and enjoying the scenery—it was also about choosing the right line and riding safely. As the day warmed up to around 30°C, staying hydrated became just as important as turning the pedals. Plenty of drinking, eating and taking care of each other kept the group going all the way to the finish. It was also another fantastic opportunity to spend more time on my new Isaac Meson. With every ride I'm enjoying this bike more. It climbs effortlessly, inspires confidence on the descents and continues to impress me on every adventure. A big thank you to Mantel for organising a fantastic first Ronde van Arnhem. I had a great day and I'd love to come back next year.
