Opening to Sleeping Beauty 1997 VHS

Now, what does "Touch the spindle." and "Once Upon a Dream" have in common. Sleeping Beauty. I remember my maternal grandparents took my mother to see Sleeping Beauty when it was released in theaters back in 1959, the picture is so WIDE! It was the widest picture ever made for an animated film at that time. The music landed her to dance in ballet. She saw the film again with my father back in 1979 on their first anniversary. Then, sixteen years later, the whole family saw the film in theaters. Despite the 1992 re-release got cancelled, I was introduced to Sleeping Beauty partly with the 1992 VHS of Beauty and the Beast then in full in 1995. In the Christmas of 1997, my grandmother visited the house and SHE HAD this particular VHS which you are about to see.
