2022 Narrm Oration with Professor Eleanor Bourke AM. “Truth, Understanding, Transformation”.

On Thursday 24 November Professor Eleanor Bourke AM, Chair of the Yoorrook Justice Commission, presented the 2022 Narrm Oration at the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Lecture Theatre at the University of Melbourne. As Australia embarked on a national conversation around the enshrinement of an Indigenous Voice to Parliament, Professor Bourke’s oration reflected on Yoorrook’s broad mandate and discussed the significance of truth telling in the context of reform and reconciliation.
