Australian Railways: Brisbane Suburbans 1994 EMU, diesel & electric, loco hauled, standing starts!
In 1994, Brisbane saw a mix of electric suburban trains, EMU and electric locomotive and diesel hauled. We watch the afternoon peak parade at Brisbane Central 8 September 1994. 3929 performs a standing start before we catch a diesel hauled "tin set" behind 1506 bound for Manly. The action is filmed out the window at Norman Park, before we alight at Wynnum Central, with standing starts at both stations and climbing up the grades.
