He was 12 when he found out the man he served as an adjutant and admired and secretly wished was his real father – actually was! Next came all the questions – most left unanswered -- the new feelings of rejection, the crushed hopes, and the anger as his father refused to acknowledge Keion as his son. This emotional trauma, however, gave Keion a drive to succeed – perhaps to prove himself worthy to be his son. He struggled with feeling as if everything was his fault and wondering “am I good enough” – one of those unanswered questions. Along the way, Pastor Henderson met Bishop T.D. Jakes and a God-ordained relationship and mentorship was born that continues to this day.
