Harbor Freight Hand Pipe Threader Review
Good Opportunity today to do a quick review of the Harbor Freight Hand Pipe Threader on 1" black steel pipe. First I use the professional Ridgid Hand Threader so you can see the threads to compare the Harbor Freight threads too. Note that I used WD40 as a lubricant and Heat displacement for these two threads. If I was doing more then just one thread with the Threader I would normally use cutting thread oil amd definitely recommend you use cutting oil for all Pipe threading. WD40 can be used however not great for longevity of your Dies as it does not displace the heat as well as cutting oil.
