Korea's export price index in May rises for the 11th consecutive month

반도체 수요 증가에 5월 수출물가지수 11개월째 상승 Korea’s export prices rose for an 11th straight month in May, driven by strong global demand for memory chips and non-ferrous metals linked to growing investment in artificial intelligence. According to the Bank of Korea on Tuesday, the export price index climbed 0-point-3 percent from April to 188-point-58. While the monthly increase slowed, export prices were nearly 47 percent higher than a year earlier.
