TTC Line 3 Farewell Party

On September 23, 2023, the TTC held a Farewell Party for the now-retired Line 3. The event had 2 SRT trains on the platform, memorabilia, music, local artists, a marketplace with Scarborough artisans, and a silent auction featuring authentic SRT parts. The TTC held the event at Scarborough Centre Station to say goodbye to Line 3 which derailed on July 24th causing it to shut down earlier than expected. The event promises to be a fun, nostalgic event that transports visitors back to 1985 when the SRT began operations. The event also raised money for the United Way.
