Hello friends in this video we will see the history of numbers. Thousands of year ago when a human lives in caves they were practising for counting with the help of bones by making scratches on bones the proof of this is ishango bones in which there are 60-60 marks on the ishango bones this gives us the evidence that human were trying to learn the counting. As soon as the years passes then came the civilisation which we all known as sumerians they introduced the token system for counting and later give there numerals which are from 1 to 60. And then came the egyptians who give the hieroglyps these includes the big numbers like million, lakhs etc. After the egyptians then came the ancients greeks which includes the Pythagoras. After this Archimedes cames after Archimedes Romans cames which introduced the roman numbers. And finally the great contribution of India without India the counting may had not been possible India give the 0 and the number system which Indian gives are Hindu -Arabic Number System which we use till today.
