Forja de un martillo de armero (bladesmith hammer)
In this video, I and Sol, my partner and assistant, forge a gunsmith's hammer, inspired by the tools in Diego Velázquez's painting "The Forge of Vulcan." It's a type of hammer designed for forging knives and thin blades like armor, used in the making of swords and weapons in general. We don't make weapons in my workshop, but it will be used for scrapers, gouges, and squeegees, among other carving tools. The full training was not recorded, but you can watch a video where I show the process in detail. Here's the link: • Temple y revenido de un martillo de forja Best regards, and until next time!
