The Art of Reading Smoke with Phil Jose

We've been watching pre-arrival videos for a couple of weeks and it seemed a good time to look at the process later in the event. We can use our Reading Smoke skills throughout an event and as part of any assignment on the fireground. In this case we get to watch the impact of horizontal ventilation on the fire, fire growth, and the outcome. We also get a chance to revisit the first lesson of Reading Smoke = Smoke is Fuel!! Remember that Reading Smoke starts with a complete inventory of the 4 attributes of Smoke; Volume, Velocity, Density, and Color.
