BOSS SD-1 OverDrive vs BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver into a Marshall JTM-45

This is a quick comparison of a BOSS SUPER OverDrive SD-1 with a BOSS Blues Driver BD-2. A longer version of this video can be viewed at    • LONG - Overdrive comparison BOSS SD-1 vs B...   The overdrive pedals are going into the front of a Marshall JTM-45 head (channel 1) and 1936 cab. To keep the video short, I am only varying the DRIVE control but I may make a longer version were I vary the TONE as well. The BD-2 is louder than the SD-1 so I increased the LEVEL on the SD-1 to match. The GAIN on the BD-2 was interesting as it was less pronounced than the SD-1 at a low setting but more pronounced at the higher setting. I used the bridge pickup on a USA Fender Stratocaster for all the rhythm guitar parts and the neck pickup for the lead.
