It was here that the artist spent her childhood and the last years of her life. Here stands her house—an inconspicuous one, standing on a road that is now a busy thoroughfare, though it was once a quiet thoroughfare. "Fakt" checked out the happenings on the property. The truth surprised us. For years, the media reported that the house where Violetta Villas spent her childhood and last years was abandoned and neglected. Today, however, the situation is slowly changing. Stanisław, a childhood friend of the artist's son, Krzysztof Gospodarek, cares for the building.
