The refrigerant used will be NH3. The evaporator and condenser temperatures will be maintained at 7.2°C and 76.6°C, respectively. a) Draw the process flow diagram and represent it theoretically on a T-S and P-H diagram. b) Represent the process on the pressure-enthalpy diagram for NH3 and determine the refrigerant flow rate, the compressor power, and the coefficient of performance (COP). Given: 1 ton = 3024 kcal/h ANSWER: b) 46.9 kg/h, 5.33 HP, and COF = 3.62
