And yet, while the body keeps the score, the challenge is that the mind hides the score. Meaning our mind tries to protect us by hiding the memory of trauma and the shame we experience as a result. But our body still feels it and lets us know each day. And it is in this disconnect where trauma lives. The good news is that you don’t have to stay in this place. You can find freedom and healing.
