Many of you know of our love for Stokke and the strollers that they make. Today we are discussing the Trailz, which is Stokke's all-terrain stroller solution. The Trailz was redesigned from the ground up to deliver a stroller that handles easily in all situations. Whether you need to get around in the city, or off the beaten path, the Trailz is a great solution for parents. Configurations The Trailz is available in a couple different configurations depending on your needs. For parents just starting out with Stokke and are focused primarily in the city, the Trailz Classic is a great way to start. Its puncture proof wheels and suspension give parents a smooth ride and all the comforts that you would look for. The Trailz Terrain, gives parents an air-filled tire option to provide the optimal use for outdoors and on the trail. Carrycot for Newborns To provide the best in comfort and security for your newborn and a baby until they are sitting on their own (five to six months usually), Stokke offers their Trailz Carrycot, which has been designed with all the comforts and protection that you want for your little one. The mattress pad is very soft and breathable with padded sides all around. The hard shell exterior provides all the security and protection that you want and is deep enough to give you peace of mind for your baby. Both the carrycot base and canopy provide ample ventilation for those warmer days without allowing the wind to blow into the child's face directly. The included apron also covers the top nicely to creat a warm and secure environment for your baby to rest in while you stroll. Fear No Path The Trailz was designed especially for parents whole love the outdoors, but who want a safe and secure stroller with the elegance parents have come to expect from Stokke. With the air-filled tires and fluid suspension, the Trailz handles well off the city streets and shops. Many parents ask if the tires go flat, and from our experience, they are very durable, we never had an issue with a flat, but you can also always fill them with gel at any bike shop if you are worried. Seat Height Like its cousin, the Xplory, the Trailz seat position is placed higher than many standard strollers. This provides the benefit of closer interaction with your baby as well as keeping them elevated from the dust and smells from the ground, but it also allows for the seat basket to accommodate larger items, making it very convenient for this to be a good stroller for shopping on the go. Waterproof Basket Another positive feature of the Trailz is its large waterproof basket. It comes with pull out flaps to create a nice waterproof layer between the ground and your items, especially for those times you are out stroller after the rain and you have puddles to deal with. Commitment to quality and child development All of Stokke's products are designed with the child first in mind to ensure that they are positioned properly to aid in proper spinal growth and development. The Trailz Carrycot and Seat were designed especially to allow for this growth from newborn through toddler. The interaction and eye contact the seat positioning provide allows for the parent and child to creat new and memorable experiences on the go. Who would benefit from this stroller? Parents that are looking for an all-terrain, sturdy, yet maneuverable stroller will love the Trailz. City dwellers that get out to nature, or people that deal with rough terrain or snowy winters will also enjoy having this as their primary stroller. However, if you are looking for a compact and portable solution, the Trailz will not be the ideal solution. Stokke has produced a new Scoot that will be a great fit for those that have compact size and portability as a priority.
