For the All Saints' Day long weekend, we headed to Hungary, and after a little research, we chose Heviz, a small town near Lake Balaton. This town is home to Europe's largest thermal lake, where we went to bathe among the water lilies—a very pretty place. From Heviz, we drove along Lake Balaton to Budapest, and seeing it with our own eyes leaves no doubt as to why it's called the Pearl of the Danube. Budapest is a marvelous capital city, rich in history, a place unimaginable without seeing it with your own eyes. It's a shame the temperatures were a bit low, but it was worth it.
