Please try baking Hotel Okura's scones at home! 🧡 *Ingredients (makes about 10 scones) *The video uses half the amount! ・280g strong flour ・12g baking powder ・165g butter (cultured butter recommended) ・28g sugar ・83g yogurt ・Pinch of salt ・1 egg (about 50g) ・Approx. egg or milk for browning (⚠The video uses half the amount. 😊) *Directions 1. Add the strong flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to the softened butter and mix with your hands. 2. Mix the yogurt and eggs, add to step 1, and mix again with your hands. 3. Roll out to a thickness of 2.5cm and cut out using molds. 4. Brush the egg and milk mixture onto the molded dough, then bake in a 180°C oven for about 25 minutes. *Note Microwave freshly taken-out butter at 300W for 20 seconds at a time to soften it. This time, try to avoid melting it as much as possible. Once the dough is combined, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to allow the moisture to absorb and make it easier to handle.
