নদীমাতৃক আমাদের এই দেশ বাংলাদেশ। শতশত নদী বহমান গ্রাম বাংলার বুকে। তেমনি এক নদী উর্বরতার বার্তাবাহী পলি মাটির ঢল বুকে নিয়ে নিরন্তর বয়ে চলেছে প্রমত্তা যমুনা। বর্ষা শুরুতেই যেন যমুনা তার পূর্ণ যৌবন ফিরে পেয়েছে। যমুনার বুকে নৌকা ভাসিয়ে চরাঞ্চলের বাসিন্দারা উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে ছুটে চলেছে সাপ্তাহিক গ্রামীণ হাট গোবিন্দাসী বাজারে। গোবিন্দাসী বাজার টাঙ্গাইল জেলা সদর থেকে প্রায় 35 কিলোমিটার উত্তরে ভুয়াপুর উপজেলা জনপদের গোবিন্দাসী ইউনিয়নে যমুনা নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত একটি ঐতিহ্যবাহী সপ্তাহিক গ্রামীণ হাট। টাঙ্গাইল জেলার সবচেয়ে নামকরা হাট গুলোর মধ্যে একটি। প্রায় ৩০০ বছরের বিপণন ঐতিহ্য নিয়ে সপ্তাহের প্রতি রবিবার দিন এখানে জমজমাট হাট বসে। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা তাই এই হাটকে বলেন রোব বাইরা বাজার। যমুনা নদীর তীরবর্তী বিভিন্ন চরের বাসিন্দারা সাপ্তাহিক এই হাটে নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় পণ্য বেচাকেনা করতে আসেন। নৌকা দিয়ে হাটে আসা-যাওয়ার প্রচলন এখনো রয়েছে যমুনা নদীর তীরবর্তী এই জনপদে। যমুনার গর্ভে জেগে থাকা গাবসারা ইউনিয়নের প্রায় তিন হাজার পরিবারের বাসিন্দাদের সড়ক যোগাযোগ না থাকাই একমাত্র নৌকায় ভরসা। চর চন্দনী, চরবিহারী, গাভ্সারা, ভাদুড়ীরচর ও সিরাজগঞ্জের কাজিপুর সহ আশেপাশের প্রায় ২৫-৩০ টি গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা নিয়মিত এই হাটে আসেন নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় পণ্য বেচাকেনা করতে। ধান, পাট, গম, ভুট্টা, তিল, শজ,, জিরা, কালি জিরা, ডাল, আলু, পেঁয়াজ, রসুন, আদা ও মৌসুমী নানান জাতের টাটকা শাকসবজি ও ফলমূল চরের উর্বর জমিতে উৎপাদন হয় প্রচুর। চরের জমিতে উৎপাদিত নানান জাতের ফসল এই গোবিন্দাসী হাটে বিক্রি করতে আসেন কৃষকেরা। গরু ছাগল হাঁস-মুরগি মাছ মাংস কাঠের তৈরি আসবাব পত্র সহ নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রায় সকল প্রকার পণ্য এই হাটে কিনতে পাওয়া যায় কম মূল্যে। যুগের পর যুগ শতাব্দীর পর শতাব্দী যমুনাপাড়ের বাসিন্দাদের জীবন ও জীবিকার রসদ যুগিয়ে চলেছে ঐতিহ্যবাহী এই গ্রামীণ হাট গোবিন্দাসী বাজার। Our country Bangladesh is a riverine country. Cows, goats, poultry, fish, meat, and almost all kinds of daily necessities including wooden furniture can be purchased at this market at low prices.
