The ClearSonic MiniMegaPac drum isolation booth is an easy way to effectively enclose and isolate drums, vocalists, horns, or other instruments. ClearSonic isolation booths utilize our drum shields and sound absorption baffles in combination to improve sound quality in large spaces with reverberation, such as houses of worship, theatres and stages, and live performance venues. They are also great for practicing an instrument at home as well as many other non-music settings, such as translation or podcasting, where audio clarity is important. The total sound reduction after setting up the MiniMega is approximately 16dB (about 50% reduction of perceived volume). An omnidirectional microphone was used and placed approximately 12 ft. from the drums. No volume or gain settings were adjusted. A door is located on either side of the booth, where the back drum shield meets the front drum shield.
