Storm Photography: Battling the Rain to Capture a River in Flood.
In this video I photograph some iconic waterfalls after heavy rain caused flooding across northern England. The River Tees itself rose to nearly 3 metres overnight, reaching its peak around 5.00am. I then head downstream to Barnard Castle where I photograph the river as it races past people’s homes just feet below their doors and windows. Date: 13th November 2025
