Definitely one of the most beloved characters on the lane, and she isn't even technically a main character! In fact, she starts out as an enemy to Susan, and yet, the fanbase still tends to adore Edie, and it's largely due to her fun-loving, free-wheeling, and upbeat personality. She's responsible for some of the most iconic and hilarious moments in the entire series. And yet...her arc across the show is one of the most tragic of all, especially with how it ends. I always feel terrible for Edie when I rewatch the show, and can understand her desperate search for love, even when it goes too far. In fact, I feel like everybody can.
