Ciervos y lobos. Ya puedes dar voces, nadie te oirá.

The beautiful deer of the Sierra de la Culebra, due to their proximity, are the wolves' main food source. It's been more than three years since I visited this forbidden sanctuary, suitable only for unrepentant wanderers and dreamers of dreams like me who don't give this a second thought. It's truly frightening because of the distance and the solitude one feels. Should any mishap arise, such as a sprain, wound, or broken leg, you'd be lost; there's no phone service here. It's best not to climb the terraces filled with broken and sharp branches and stony scree, which millions of years ago were the seabeds of Pangea and later glaciers of the Ice Age, during the last glacial period in Earth's geological history. It began about 110,000 years ago and ended around 9700 BC, giving way to the Holocene, the current temperate climate period. That is to say, our hominid ancestors were already herding in these inhospitable places. To avoid any mishap, they only used paths, otherwise, you can shout and no one will hear you, only the goblins.
