We’re taking you along on a stunning hike from Gimmelwald to the Tanzbödeli with an overnight stay in the rustic Obersteinberg Hotel. We’ll end our trek back in Stechelberg (Lauterbrunnen Valley). Start the hike in Gimmelwald, Switzerland From here, follow trail signs to Obersteinberg until you see signs for Tanzbödeli. Tanzbödeli Be impressed by epic views from this grassy plateau! Snowy peaks and glaciers above, waterfalls all around, and Lauterbrunnen Valley below! Obersteinberg This is where we stayed overnight at a rustic mountain hotel (no electricity or running water)! In addition to the charm, you can visit their farm, enjoy a home cooked dinner, and then a fresh breakfast after a night of peaceful sleep. Oberhornsee After breakfast, we take you on a little walk to a charming alpine lake! Trachsellauenen On our walk back down to Lauterbrunnen, we stopped to peek at the mines at Trachsellauenen — and a lunch at the hotel restaurant here too! Stechelberg This hike ends in Stechelberg (Lauterbrunnen Valley).
