I took the English exam and I had a really hard time passing it! But I didn't give up! I failed the exam three times, so for my last attempt, I studied even harder, I reviewed everything, I barely slept, just so I could pass their exam here! To be honest, since I started taking their exams here, there have been many local candidates who failed. Just think about it, they use their own language, and they still failed, which means their exams here are really difficult. What else could someone like me do? I'm from a different race and the English exam I took was harder for someone like me because my language in the Philippines is Tagalog, and Turkey's English is based on European English and British English, so it's harder to understand. I studied something from their book here and it also came up on the exam, luckily I studied it, it's one word in British but has many meanings in Turkish., that's how their exams are here, it's really difficult so you can't ignore it. You want a driver's license, you'll have to work hard to get it and study hard! Because even if you're smart in the Philippines, your intelligence in the Philippines won't matter if you don't study hard here in Turkey! and it doesn't end there, once you pass the written exam, you can take driving lessons, and don't be complacent that you'll pass right away, there's another exam to take., the exam they call it, Driving Test or Road Test! It includes three types of parking! Leo park in Turkish, L-park in English, then 6 pcs. of orange cylinder cones, you will go forward and backward, without touching or moving the six pieces of orange cylinder cones, and there is also a parallel park, the parallel is more difficult for me, then the last u-turn,., and after the road test, which is 2.5 km, you should be back at your final destination right on time., the total time allowed is only 40 minutes, including parking and the road test!
