Today we spent a night in the forest using traditional equipment. A bivouac with an oilskin tarp, a wool blanket, flint, an axe, etc. We tried to recreate what a night in the field might have been like for a hunter, shepherd, or mountaineer hundreds of years ago. Without a doubt, a truly purist bushcraft experience for the most dedicated bushcraft enthusiasts.
