Diani Beach Kenya with My Girlfriend: Arriving, Fish Lunch, and a Romantic Beach Evening

Join us on our couples getaway in Diani Beach, Kenya. After meeting in Nairobi, my girlfriend and I traveled to Diani by train. We checked into our cozy Airbnb and began exploring. In this video, we'll visit 3 different beaches, we'll grab breakfast at a local restaurant, enjoy a fresh Red Snapper for lunch on the beach, and cook a couples steak dinner together in our accommodation. Finally, we'll admire a beautiful full moon at the beach. We spent about 6 weeks in Diani in total. Originally, we were going to stay for 3 weeks but we kept extending our stay. This is part 1 of our trip to Diani. Check back for part 2 soon. Supposedly, Diani has the best beaches in Africa. They have some of the whitest sand I've ever seen and the warm Indian Ocean water is perfect for swimming. The beaches were perfect during the early mornings and evenings. One thing I didn't enjoy about Diani is the heat. It was about 90 degrees every single day. It really got to me after a while. The beach boys also get annoying. They constantly approach trying to sell tours and souvenirs. Overall, Diani Beach was a great travel destination for our couples getaway. It's a tropical paradise in East Africa.
