Türkiye'nin İlk Araba Girişimi Devrim'in Hikâyesi

On the morning of October 29, 1961, Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkey, was witnessing not an ordinary Republic Day celebration, but the most critical, symbolic, and ultimately tragic test of a national industrialization drive. A large crowd had gathered in front of the Grand National Assembly building, consisting of government officials, high-ranking military officers, local and foreign press representatives, and curious onlookers. Despite the cool air, the atmosphere in the assembly gardens was warming with the hope that a decades-long belief in "we can't do it" would be broken. At the center of attention were two automobiles, designed and produced entirely by Turkish engineers, technicians, and workers in an unbelievable, almost miraculous time of just 129 days, amidst the technological limitations of the era.
