Hitman Critique: The Limits of Repetition (World of Assassination)
This is a critique and gameplay analysis of the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy developed by IO Interactive. Over the years this series of games have become one of my favorites but that's also confusing for me because it's quite repetitive, and not always in a good way. In this video, I try to answer that question by looking at the game's mechanics as well as level design. I spend time looking at about 10 of the series' 20+ maps for this analysis and explain my thoughts from a mechanical gameplay perspective of why some maps feel better than others. Please enjoy.
