New Compassion Ambassador Kevin Tuerff wrote the only first-person memoir of an American refugee on 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland -- "Channel of Peace: Stranded in Gander." In this webinar, Kevin tells of Gander’s compassion, then and now. Kevin is an ambassador for Charter for Compassion, and spends time in New York City volunteering and advocating for immigrants and refugees.
