This procedure is exactly the same for any 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, or 05 Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire. This procedure is also generally the same for any vehicle with a macpherson front strutsuspension. As you can see by the video this is an involved replacement but it is not impossible for the do-it-yourselfer. Access to a lift is a big plus but not necessary. You may need to replace the front control arms on your car if you are feeling a pulling when braking and that pull is transferring to your hands through the steering wheel. This repair is moderate. It requires a floor jack, jack stands, and then basic tools, wrenches, hammers, pry bars. Beyond that it does require a "pickle fork" or ball joint fork which is a more specialized tool that not everyone has in their DIY tool set.
