朝のモナコは穏やかだった。 地中海から吹く風の下、DAMS #11は静かな市街地コースへと向かう。 豪華クルーザーが並ぶ港。 山の斜面に広がる街並み。 世界で最も有名な市街地サーキットは、この日も特別な空気に包まれていた。 午前のセッションはクリアラップ中心。 壁との距離を確かめるように、一周、また一周と周回を重ねていく。 やがて午後になると空に雲が広がり始める。 天候の行方を見守りながら迎えた夕方。 再びコースへ戻る頃には空も表情を変え、モナコらしい光が街を照らしていた。 今度は静寂ではない。 続々とコースインするF2マシン。 クリアだったコースは一転し、実戦を思わせる混走状態へと変わる。 トンネルを抜け、 タバックを駆け抜け、 ボー・リバージュを駆け上がる。 2度のBOXストップを経ながら、DAMS #11はセッションを走り切った。 そして、このゼッケン11には特別な記憶がある。 2023年、モナコ。 岩佐歩夢選手がDAMSでスプリントレース優勝を飾った場所。 同じ街、同じガードレール、同じ海。 モナコの歴史は今日も静かに刻まれていく。 The morning in Monaco was calm. Under clear blue skies, DAMS #11 rolled onto one of the most iconic street circuits in motorsport. Luxury yachts lined the harbor. The city climbed the hills above the Mediterranean. Every lap through Monaco felt like driving through a living postcard. The morning session was mostly clear running. With few cars on track, the focus was on rhythm, precision, and confidence between the barriers. As the afternoon progressed, clouds began to gather above the Principality. By evening, however, the skies cleared once again. The atmosphere on track had changed completely. More and more Formula 2 cars joined the session, turning the calm morning into a race-like environment with constant traffic and strategic pit stops. Through Sainte Dévote. Into the Tunnel. Past Tabac. Climbing Beau Rivage. DAMS #11 completed the session with two pit stops while gathering valuable data for the race weekend ahead. This car number also carries a special memory.
