The Archives of the Planet
This is the tale of how a wealthy Parisian banker managed to take nigh on a 100,000 color glass plates. Making the Les archives de la planète by Albert Kahn the largest early collection of color photography in the world. They are a gem to behold. Special thanks to the Musée Albert-Kahn for its amazing website, archive portal, and fantastic museum grounds which provided most of everything I needed.
