AAA/ACL LAB

Today I built a small enterprise-style network in Packet Tracer focused on real-world design, security, and packet flow. This lab included: • Router-on-a-Stick Inter-VLAN Routing • VLAN Segmentation (10, 20, 30, 40) • AAA Authentication • Extended ACLs • NAT Overload (PAT) • Trunking with 802.1Q • Static Design Principles • Enterprise Security Policies One of the biggest lessons from this lab was understanding that networking is not about memorizing commands. It is about understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Instead of asking: “How do I configure an ACL?” I started asking: “Who should be allowed to communicate, who should be restricted, and why?” That shift in thinking is the difference between configuring devices and designing networks. As I continue my CCNP journey, I’m focusing on building the skills employers want in enterprise environments: segmentation, security, routing, troubleshooting, packet flow analysis, and operational stability. #CCNP #Cisco #Networking #NetworkEngineer #EnterpriseNetworking #RouterOnAStick #VLAN #ACL #AAA #NAT #PacketTracer #ITInfrastructure #NetworkSecurity #LearningInPublic
