The Schuberth SR1 race inspired helmet has spent over a decade in research and development and is now ready to be launched to the public. In true Schuberth fashion, the helmet would not hit the market until every detail was perfect, as demonstrated by the finished product. The outer shell is constructed of Schuberth's proprietary S.T.R.O.N.G. material, with an increased percentage of carbon fiber added to the mix for lightweight strength and has a shape that is built for race performance, not creature comforts. No internal sun visor and no communication system on this helmet, as Schuberth leaves those creature comforts for their more conservative touring styles like the C3 and S2 helmets. The inner lining is a thermacool product that has a light ceramic coating that is cool to the touch but also feels soft against the skin. Too many great features in this helmet to address here.
