Dihfahsih and Lydia stood before God, before their families, before the church, and entered not into a temporary relationship — but into a covenant that was designed by God Himself. This wedding is more than beautiful outfits, music, photos, and celebration. It is a message to this generation. ⚠️ MARRIAGE IS NOT A CONTRACT. It is not “until feelings change.” It is not “until life becomes difficult.” It is not “until someone better appears.” Marriage is covenant. The modern world has reduced marriage to emotion, convenience, and personal happiness. But biblically, marriage was never built on feelings alone. Feelings can rise and fall. Attraction can fade during difficult seasons. Finances can become hard. Misunderstandings can happen. Sickness can come. Pressure can come. But covenant remains. That is why Scripture says: “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” — Matthew 19:6 When God joins a man and woman together, heaven recognizes that union as ONE flesh. Not two people casually trying each other out. Not partners living together without commitment. Not temporary companionship. ONE. And because God Himself joins them, no human being has the authority to separate what heaven established. ⚠️ THIS VIDEO IS ALSO A WARNING TO THIS GENERATION. Today many people enter relationships backwards: • intimacy before commitment • children before vows • living together before covenant • emotions before wisdom • pleasure before purpose Then later they wonder why homes are collapsing, why trust is broken, and why peace disappears. God’s order was never meant to restrict us. It was designed to protect us. The world teaches: “Follow your heart.” But the Bible teaches: “Guard your heart.” — Proverbs 4:23 The world says: “If it stops making you happy, leave.” But covenant says: “Remain faithful even in storms.” The world normalizes divorce. God calls marriage holy. ⚠️ DIVORCE WAS NEVER GOD’S ORIGINAL PLAN. Yes, challenges come. Yes, misunderstandings happen. Yes, marriage requires sacrifice, patience, forgiveness, maturity, prayer, and endurance. But love is proven most when it survives seasons that feelings alone cannot carry. A godly marriage says: “I will not abandon you because life became difficult.” Real covenant means: • staying when seasons are hard • praying together through pain • forgiving each other repeatedly • choosing commitment over pride • fighting for the marriage instead of fighting each other Many people prepare for weddings. Very few prepare for covenant. A wedding lasts one day. Marriage is for life. The church must return to teaching biblical marriage boldly again. Marriage is ministry. Marriage is discipleship. Marriage is sacrifice. Marriage is spiritual warfare. Marriage is partnership in purpose. Marriage is two imperfect people learning daily how to reflect Christ. The husband is called to love his wife as Christ loved the church — sacrificially, patiently, faithfully. The wife is called to honour and support her husband in wisdom, strength, and grace. Neither is called to dominate the other. Both are called to submit to God. And children raised in homes built on covenant receive something powerful: stability, identity, security, covering, and generational blessing. Thank you for standing before God publicly and saying: “Forever begins here.” May your home become: • a place of prayer • a place of peace • a place of healing • a place where Christ is seen • a place where future generations will learn what true marriage looks like May your love continue growing deeper long after the wedding decorations disappear. And to every young person watching this video: Please do not allow loneliness, pressure, social media culture, or temporary feelings to push you into relationships outside God’s order. The right person will honour your purity. The right relationship will survive accountability. The right marriage is worth waiting for. God still writes beautiful love stories. God still blesses marriages built His way.
