On July 27th, the Grodno region was hit by a natural disaster. ❗️❗️❗️❗️Hurricane hits Voronovo District: 140 houses damaged, trees downed 🏁Gusts of wind with gusts of up to 20 m/s swept across the Grodno region, but the Voronovo District suffered the heaviest blow. The storm damaged the roofs of 140 homes and 10 agricultural buildings, felled trees, blocked roads, and damaged crops. The situation is most severe in the Zabolotsky and Boltishsky village councils. 🏁All emergency services in the district have been mobilized. Emergency Ministry rescuers, working with concerned local residents, are cutting down and removing fallen trees and clearing roads. An emergency commission is working within the district executive committee, and measures for rapid recovery are being developed. 🏁In total, five districts across the region required the assistance of emergency Ministry personnel. ❗️Fortunately, as of now, there are no fatalities or injuries. Rescuers continue to monitor the situation throughout the region.
