Seelach ist ein Ortsteil mit 323 Einwohnern ( Stand Jänner 2024) der Gemeinde St. Kanzian am Klopeinersee im Bezirk Völkermarkt in Kärnten. Sankt Kanzian liegt im Jauntal, südlich der zum Völkermarkter Stausee aufgestauten Drau und ungefähr sieben Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum der Bezirkshauptstadt Völkermarkt entfernt. Zum Gemeindegebiet gehören der Klopeiner See, der Turnersee, der Kleinsee und der Georgiberg. Der Klopeiner See zählt mit Wassertemperaturen von bis zu 29°C zu den wärmsten Alpeneen. Der Klopeiner See wird sehr stark touristisch genutzt, davon zeugen Hotel- und Badeanlagen rund um den ganzen See. Sankt Kanzian is located in the Jauntal Valley, south of the Drau River, which is dammed to form the Völkermarkt Reservoir, and approximately seven kilometers from the center of the district capital, Völkermarkt. The municipal area includes Lake Klopeiner, Lake Turnersee, Lake Kleinsee, and Georgiberg. With water temperatures of up to 29°C, Lake Klopeiner is one of the warmest lakes in the Alps. Lake Klopeiner is heavily used by tourists, as evidenced by the hotels and bathing facilities all around the lake.
