The classic look stands out in the thickest of crowds. Look no further than the front end for the reason. The leading-link exposed spring front suspension was factory welded and polished by hand. Its complimented by a hot-forged steel fork and classic horn. Full-coverage rear fender, wide white-walls, leather bags, fishtail mufflers, and all the special Anniversary features. Two-tone paint that resonates with pure rightness, Anniversary engine covers, seat logo, and gold trimmed tank cloisonne, and a twin Cam 88B carbureted engine. Grab the bar and feel the pull. There’s no mistaking that either! I purchased the bike from the original owner who bought brand new right here in Augusta, GA. The owner is a well-known person in this area and very well respected (call me if you want to know more about that). He bought the bike new November of 2003, from our local Harley dealer. He had a lot of work (extras) done to the bike before it even left the dealership. I think that he added every piece of chrome and 100th Anniversary Harley items that was available. He also had the bike lowered 2 inches at that time and it has been ever since. It also has Samson pipes instead of the originals. All services and maintenance have been done at our local Harley dealership. The only reason that he sold the bike now is that he is 74 years old and decided it was time to give it up. The bike has never been dropped or any damage for that matter. It has been garage kept except for a couple Daytona bike week trips. The current mileage is 23,847. With 20,340 of those miles counted during the first 8 years… it only has about 3,500 miles the last 10 years. Nevertheless, the average is only 1,324 a year.
