Instead, Puerto Rican comedian Charitín Goico, among other figures, was invited, prompting a reaction from Alex Otaola on his program. Otaola explained that on the She Wolf tour, Shakira invites people dressed similarly to her to walk alongside her on stage at the beginning of the concert. Although Oyacito has been known for his almost unconditional devotion to the artist, he was not part of that special moment. The Cuban presenter pointed out that this type of exclusion has been repeated on several occasions with Oyacito: he wasn't recognized during a car raffle, nor did he receive a personal acknowledgment at previous concerts where he shouted his love for the singer. With a mix of empathy and irony, Otaola reminded Oyacito that excessive, unconditional adoration doesn't guarantee recognition from artists. He mentioned that Oyacito had once offered to take care of Shakira's father so the singer wouldn't have to worry, a level of devotion that, according to the host, wasn't reciprocated at this concert or on previous occasions. The segment sparked debate among the show's panel. Otaola advised Oyacito to stand up for himself and stop giving so intensely to someone who, in his own words, reciprocates his feelings time and time again. The comparison with figures like Charitín Goico, who was invited to walk with Shakira, was used to illustrate the contrast between Oyacito's devotion and her absence during the moments he most needed. According to Otaola, as long as Oyacito continues to debase himself before the artist without reciprocation, Shakira will not consider him.
