The S.95.Z indicator, prepared by the Turkish Institute for Healthcare Quality and Accreditation, which measures the rate of psychotropic and narcotic drug use in emergency departments, is one of the most critical audit standards for measuring our hospital's rational drug use culture. In this video, we examine the rate of patients who received psychotropic and narcotic drugs among those presenting to the emergency department. We explain this mathematical process, where the number of patients who received psychotropic and narcotic drugs is divided by the total number of patients presenting to the emergency department and multiplied by 100, with complete transparency.
