This mystical film, entirely in Russian, centers on a family ritual in which a new victim must be chosen once every hundred years. A woman goes to an ancient altar for her daughter, but the mission turns into a moral trap. The closer she gets to the forbidden zone, the more dangerous the question becomes: is the legend lying or does it demand a price? She didn't want to believe in her family's ancient duty until need forced her to set out on the route to the altar. The cameras, the dangerous zone, and the promised money were supposed to be an opportunity, but every step makes the ritual more real. Here, it's impossible to separate legend from threat, and saving a loved one requires a decision for which no one can prepare.
