Copilot Studio: Generate Word Document Grounded In Knowledge

In this video we are going to look at using #CopilotStudio to generate an #MSWord Document and then return it back to the chat window. More specifically, we are going to create a sales quote using natural language. I’m only going to provide a few pieces of information: the customer name and a few products. This agent uses its knowledge about the products my store sells to fill-in the rest. The agent comes back with the quoted items and prices, but check this out: I can also click on a link to open the full document. And it’s a beauty. And you’ll also notice the customer and products have a lot of additional details because of how I’ve grounded my agent with data. There’s so much I want to teach you in today’s video and I hope you’re excited by what you’ve seen so far. Let’s dive right in and build this agent. 🎬 Table Of Contents 00:00 Introduction 01:43 Define A Quote Template In Microsoft Word 06:33 Create An Agent Flow To Generate A Word Document 07:36 Generate A Word Document Using A Copilot Studio Prompt 10:58 Construct A Link To The Word Document 20:58 Configure The Generate Sales Quote Agent Flow 23:37 Test The Agent To Generate A Word Document In Copilot Studio 25:34 Ground The Agent With Excel Product List 27:14 Ground The Word Document Prompt With Dataverse Customer Accounts 31:39 Ground The Prompt With A PowerFx Formula 34:16 Test Creating A Word Document Grounded By Agent Knowledge Follow along with these written instructions ✍ https://www.matthewdevaney.com/copilo...
