This 2015 WQLN PBS original documentary titled “Our Town: Stories from North East,” is a one and a half-hour video scrapbook of the people, places, and happenings of the North East, Pennsylvania. “Our Town: Stories from North East” features the heritage and spirit of the community of North East and shares the history, little-known facts and culture of North East, as seen by its residents. It combines first-hand accounts with photos and video contributed by residents who tell their stories in on-camera interviews. Topics range from the history of wine and grape region and its impact of North East, Lake Shore Railroad History Society and Museum, the historic fire of 1884, to the dynamic flavor of North East's community engagements, and the personal accounts of North East's residents.
