Tribute to the Prince of Darkness & Don Airey~ I was pleased with the Analog Pipe Organ I was able to program into the Prophet Rev2's (2 MIDIed together). It's a pretty simple program: Both layers give me four oscillators (I don't think I used the sub oscillators.) I use Pulse Width of 33% for all four and evenly mix them. I then set them to four different octaves: C1, C2, C3, and C4. I probably used both Rev2 units and panned them Left and Right. For the second time through, the Yamaha Montage is controlling the Prophets via MIDI, but also adds a Choir, some additional digital Pipe Organ, and some Strings. ...So you are getting a blend of three organ sources, plus Choir and Strings. I also had programmed the "MiniMoog Bass" sound into the Model D and Rev2, and in some ways prefer it on those instruments... But the HydraSynth has the advantage of giving us a nice stereo spread, and the Ribbon Controller proves to be quite fun.
