In the very heart of Alsace, we explored places of extraordinary beauty in our motorhome, such as Riquewihir, Kaysersberg, and the Château de Königsburg. Riquewihir is a stunning village, surrounded by vineyards and nestled in a spectacular natural landscape. It's no wonder it's on the list of the most beautiful villages in France. Kaysersberg, bisected by a river, defended by a curious fortified bridge, and in the shadow of its castle, also boasts a charming medieval historic center filled with half-timbered houses. The Château de Königsburg, on the other hand, breaks with this succession of picturesque villages we've been presenting. It is one of the most visited monuments in France. And it certainly deserves it, both for its design and the splendid restoration it underwent, and especially for its location atop Stophanberch mountain.
