Conde Petie is in my top 5 songs from what arguably was one of the greatest soundtracks ever written. FF9 (originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu) has over 80 tracks, and they range from "good" to" tear-jerking masterpiece"! I've been meaning to create a cover of this song for many years now, but I'm sort of glad I waited. I really wanted to do it justice! I named this remix "Blessings of the Moon" (kind of a nod to the spirituality/religion of the dwarves). I was kind of imagining what Conde Petie might be like at night, which is why I added owls, "oglops", crickets, etc. In my heart... I just know that Oglops must chirp at night. 💛 The flute parts were performed by my friend, Gamer of the Winds!
