In a career spanning 15 years, she has performed extensively within India and abroad. Sriranjani also runs a highly successful music school namely “Sriranjani’s Tapasya”. She is the daughter and disciple of musician Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan, under his guidance she trained rigorously in Carnatic music. Dīkṣhidar describes Him as radiant like countless suns, the essence of consciousness and bliss, and the source of boundless compassion. The charaṇam beautifully portrays the Lord as the self-effulgent, transcendental form holding a deer, companion of Aparna, riding the sacred bull, adorned with the Ganga, and surpassing the brilliance of the sun, moon, and fire. The krithi captures the essence of Arunachala as the eternal flame of divine light and consciousness, whose remembrance alone leads to salvation.
